最好的事 (The Best)

班傑明‧富蘭克林曾說：「很多人都是25歲就死了，75歲才埋葬」。這句話真是說到人的心坎裡，讓人心有戚戚焉啊！

富蘭克林出身卑微，只有受過幾年學校教育，但是卻學識淵博，這都要歸功於他自己好學不倦、勤奮不懈。他不僅很會寫作，同時也是一位成功的商人、發明家、和政治家。他鼓勵人不要害怕失敗而放棄想做的事，千萬不要讓自己的心停止，唯有不斷的學習，才能鼓舞自己勇於向前。

「想做的事」就是還未曾做的事，人們給它一個很美的名詞叫做：「夢想」。夢想和慾望是截然不同的，如果一生只是實現了各式各樣、大大小小的慾望，到最後仍然只會感到人生很虛空，好像白忙了一場，不知道意義在哪裡。

夢想的本質很簡單，就是想要實現「我」這個人被創造的目的。如果能夠找到這個目的，人的心就會被滿足，即使沒有很豐富的物質享受，快樂仍然會自然而然的由心底升起。

然而，夢想的實現卻很困難，因為那需要我們用一生的時間和精力來追尋。大部分的人都不覺得自己有什麼與眾不同之處，所以就慢慢的隱藏自己，日復一日的告訴大腦：「這就是我，我的一生就只能這樣了」。

市面上如果有限量版的商品，大家一定會瘋狂的搶購。但是你知道嗎？上帝所創造的每一個人都比限量版還要珍貴，因為每個人都是祂精心設計的傑作，都是舉世無雙的。當我們不輕看自己，細心的發掘上帝賦予我們的才能，就會慢慢找到人生的金鑰匙，打開一扇扇被關閉的門。

有一位媽媽，她因為某些因素而辭去工作，以前她總認為她很不擅長做家事和煮飯，但就在她回歸家庭生活後，她才在打掃中，在準備飯食中發現了許多樂趣。後來她出了一本書，教大家用一些唾手可得的食材和最簡單的烹調方式，來準備家人要吃的食物。這本書不僅僅是一本食譜，更多的是分享她的生活和她最感興趣的事情，讓許多新手媽媽學習到了烹飪的技巧，也從中獲得許多生活的智慧。

分享生活中最拿手的事，就是發現上帝創造我們的目的的第一步。

生命中的挫敗不代表已經走到了終點，上帝的智慧和計畫不斷地在引領我們，只要我們願意在任何一個階段開始，再加上一點勇氣，就可以踏上追夢之路。與上帝一起同工吧，去發現更多更多祂要藉著我們去完成的美好事。

聖經  詩篇139:17-18

神啊，你的意念向我何等寶貴，其數何等眾多，我若數點，比海沙更多。

禱告：

耶和華啊，我的肺腑是你所造的，我還在母腹中時，你已覆庇我。我被創造一定不是偶然，而是有你特別的計畫。求你向我顯明你的心意，讓我明白自己被創造的目的，求你雕塑我，使用我的一生，可以和你搭配合作，來完成上帝美好的善工。奉耶穌基督的名禱告，阿們。

The Best

Benjamin Franklin has said: 「Most people die at 25 and aren’t buried until 75.」 This sentence is really heartfelt and makes many people’s heart go out to it.

Franklin came from a humble background.  Although he had only a few years of school education, he was very knowledgeable.  It thanks to his tireless studios and hard diligence.  He was not only good at writing but also a successful businessman, inventor and politician.  He encouraged people not to be afraid of failure and give up the things what you want to do.  Do not let your heart halt, only keep learning will inspire you with courage to move forward.

「What you want to do」is something you have not yet done.  People give it a beautiful name:「dream」.  Dreams and desires are completely different.  If we achieve all kinds of large and small desires in life, we still feel life is empty and naught, and have no idea about the meaning of life.    

The essence of dream is very simple.  That is to complete the purpose for what I was created.  If we can find the purpose, we will be satisfied.  Even without a wealth of material comfort, happiness will still naturally rise from our heart.   

To complete the dream, however, is very difficult.  We need to use whole life and all efforts to search it.  Most people do not think selves distinctive.  We used to hide ourselves and day by day convince our brain: 「This is me, my life would be only it.」

If there are limited edition products on market, everyone will be crazy and rush to buy them.  But, do you know?  Everyone who is created by God is more precious than the limited edition, because everyone is an outstanding artistry of God and unique in the world.  When we do not look down on ourselves and quest carefully the talents God has given us.  Gradually we will find the golden key of life to open every door which has been closed.

A madam, she quit her job because of some reasons.  She always thought she is not good at housework and cooking.  But she has found a lot of fun in cleaning and preparing meals after her back to family life.  Later, she published a book to teach readers using some readily available ingredients and simple cooking to prepare the food for family.  This book is not so much a recipe; it is to share her life and her most interested things.  From this book many young mothers learn how to cook and obtain a lot of life wisdom.  

To share what you are expert in life is the first step to find the purposes God created us.

The frustration is not meaning life to the end.  God’s wisdom and plan lead us continuously.  As long as we are willing to start at any stage and with a little courage, we can set foot on the road chasing dreams.  Work with God together to find more and more beautiful things which He wants us to complete.

Psalm 139:17-18

How precious to me are your thoughts, God!

How vast is the sum of them.

Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, you created my inmost being and you knit me together in my mother’s womb.  I am definitely not an accidental creation, while you have a special plan to me.  Please show me your mind and let me know the purpose for what I was created.  Please shape me, use my whole life to cooperate with you in order to accomplish God’s goodness work.  In Jesus name, Amen.
